Omdurman School of Excellence (1/3)

Most of the students who attend the School of Excellence in Omdurman, Sudan are orphans who are educated through an orphan sponsorship scheme. Since the school was set up in 2004, your continuing support has ensured that its equipment and facilities are always of the highest standard.

Your donations help orphans (2/3)

The spacious classrooms are filled with rows of lively children, all vying for the teacher’s attention. Some tap on their desks or jump on the chairs our donors have provided so the teacher will see their raised hands. Staff and students run back and forth on the volleyball court in the playground, while the delicious smell of Sudanese fuul (fava beans) wafts out of the kitchen.

The simple gift of a school chair (3/3)

The school provides a free transport service which collects children from their homes, as well as an on-site doctor and counselling to help students cope with the loss of their parents and other difficulties.
