Why provide hot cooked meals in Gaza?

Gaza is facing extreme hunger, with around 2.2 million people experiencing crisis-level food insecurity or worse. 

Muslim Hands is working with UN bodies to provide hot, nutritious meals to families who have been displaced and have little or no access to cooking facilities. 

Distributions prioritise people with disabilities, women and children.

What will your gift do?

Just £1 can provide one person with a hot, cooked meal, supplying a minimum of 1,500 calories. Meals typically include:

• Rice or pasta
• Fortified vegetable oil
• Tomato sauce
• Legumes and pulses
