Pulp fiction of course!
Nearly 35 million people, representing 21% of the total population of Bangladesh, face moderate and severe chronic food insecurity. Our innovative pumpkin project aims to combat food insecurity head-on by providing women with vital skills to mitigate this ongoing crisis.
We aim to eliminate hunger and malnutrition through the innovative use of sandbar cropping technology. This climate-smart technology permits pumpkins to grow on sandy and barren land. The project aims to educate the farmers on how to identify suitable sandbar cropping spaces, fill them with compost, and add pumpkin seeds. Farmers will have the ability to sell some of the pumpkin, and to keep some to feed their families. The project will guarantee that farmers have the means to overcome food shortages and reduce risks that threaten their livelihoods.
Your Great Charity Gift donation will help provide the neccessary tools, equipment and raw material required to grow 40 pumpkins, giving a needy family a source of food and income.
