Why provide medical care in Gaza?

“Whoever saves one [life] - it is as if he had saved the entirety of humanity.” [The Noble Qur’an, 5:32]

Our partner, UNRWA, is running medical camps to provide primary care to patients in Gaza. Each medical camp is equipped with a doctor, nurse, counsellor and medications to treat the sick and injured. Over 30,000 people have been killed and 70,000 wounded in attacks on Gaza since 7th October. Hospitals have been bombed and the lack of food and clean water is causing disease to spread rapidly amongst survivors. Thousands in Gaza are in urgent need of medical attention now.
